Subirdia is a stainless steel sculpture in the form of a minimalistically designed birdhouse. The sculpture sits atop a pole in nature. Contained within the birdhouse is an outdoor speaker that projects sound pieces of the noises within the rooms of a home that have been recorded and transformed into bird calls. The work relates to communication, home, and the public/private dichotomy of all social creatures; including man.
